Electric Iron Safety Guard

Note: Review only, product no longer for sale.

Avoid burning fingers while ironing

A person with visual or sensory impairments may use a hot electric iron without fear. Simply stick on a strip of hook-and-loop fastener, attach the safety guard, and proceed with ironing. The user may now place the free hand on the garment and run the guard along the hand. The free hand acts as a guide for the iron and is protected from the heat. Two contoured plastic rods surround the edges of the iron's sole plate. Metal parts are plastic-coated in a highly visible neon green. Weighs 8 oz. (227 gm). Shipping weight is 1 lb. Instructions included.

Sort and Fit Board Teaches Fine Motor Control

Pegboards are basic toys for practically all kids. Fitting a peg into a matching space is a very satisfying feeling. This exceptional pegboard has more possible play activities then the average. The "double" peg system facilitates interesting colour and size matching games. The two kinds of pegs need different levels of fine motor skills, making this a toy that kids can grow with. Good for children with visual impairments and general developmental delays.
