Did you know that in the US alone, more then 8 million families have a parent with a disability? Find resources here!



Dana Mitchell's parents learned how to parent an active child from a wheelchair through trial and error. They have dsecided to share their wisdom through this special site. Resources include: books, organizations, web resources, and products that parents with disabilities have used to make independent parenting a reality. Physical Therapy: The Bolster Pony with Mobile Base

Children with Cerebral Palsy often have problems with abduction or scissoring" of the legs. Most positioners are boring and confining. Not the Bolster Pony though! Try setting up an indoor obstacle course with soft pillows to ride the pony through. It adds fun to the physical therapy workout!
